DOCEO Office Solutions is giving back to the community through its ‘DOCEO Gives Back’ donation program. A total of $10,570 was divided equally and given to both the ALS Association and the American Cancer Society at the end of 2016. At the beginning of the year, DOCEO Office Solutions selected these two charitable organizations that have touched the associates of The DOCEO Companies.
The ALS Association is leading the fight to treat and cure ALS through global research and nationwide advocacy. This organization really hits home for DOCEO as one of the co-founders of the company, Dave Bryson, was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) last year. The money donated towards The ALS Association will impact various services provided by the organization that include in-home care, rides to support groups, medical equipment loans and caregiver education.
The American Cancer Society is a nationwide, community-based health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem. Cancer has touched the lives of every single DOCEO employee, whether through family or friendship. The money donated towards the American Cancer Society will impact both the patients and their families through patient navigation, lodging, transportation to and from the doctor and cancer prevention research.
