By Philip Iglauer – Samsung Electronics announced on Monday three new software packages for document imaging to make printing easier in a business world overflowing with different types of devices, file formats, and printing needs.
According to an announcement on Samsung’s website, Equitrac — both its Office and Express iterations — is a print management software solution that allows businesses to print what they need regardless of location, routing the documents to nearby printing devices through a pull-printing system. Equitrac reduces IT complexities by removing dependencies on print servers, print drivers, and complex print fleets.
