MAHWAH, NJ, March 8, 2016 – Today, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America (SIICA), a division of Sharp Electronics Corporation (SEC) announces that the newest additions to the Pro Series lineup, the MX-M1055 and MX-M1205 Monochrome Document Systems, are now shipping. These models continue the Sharp Pro Series legacy of simplifying print-on-demand workflows, saving time and money, and allowing businesses to bring more work in-house with professional results.

The latest version of Fiery Command WorkStation offers new ways to prioritize print production. The new Fiery print server also allows users to easily inspect jobs in the optional Fiery ImageViewer for Black and White, to improve tonality and ensure high image quality.

Adding to the monochrome systems’ unrivaled ease-of-use is the new paper catalog, which resides on the print engine and allows up to 1,000 paper entries, giving operators ultimate control when handling the specific characteristics of their preferred paper. Bringing together Sharp’s exclusive triple air-feed, large capacity tray option with the comprehensive paper catalog ensures precise paper handling and excellent print results on a wide range of media, including coated, glossy and specialty papers.

With the full-service capabilities of the Pro Series lineup, in-plants can now accelerate their business and benefit from producing customized marketing campaigns using variable data printing formats, including those that use built-in Fiery FreeForm™ software.
