DocuWareBy Wiebke Bortnik – You often hear about so-called Spy Programs that large software companies utilize to track their user‘s behaviors.  This sounds a bit ominous at first – no one wants a spy lurking in their PC.

But even we have to admit: DocuWare would love to know more about how you are working with our software.

To further improve the quality, performance and usability of DocuWare, it’s extremely helpful to have statistical data about how our software is being used.

In addition to the information that we can gather via customer surveys, we are always trying to understand in what kinds of software environments DocuWare is being used or how DocuWare systems could be configured in the future to automatically capture information via a Customer Experience Improvement Program (CEIP).

Of course, participating in a program like this is completely voluntary and absolutely anonymous.

So there’s no need to fear a spy in your PC:

– You decide during the software’s setup if you’d like to participate

– We‘ll tell you exactly what kind of data we are collecting

– The information is only used for improving DocuWare

– Future versions of the software will suit your needs even better

How does a CEIP work?

If you participate in the CEIP, statistical data (which is completely anonymous) about how DocuWare is used is collected and regularly transmitted to DocuWare. This process is handled automatically and in the background – you will never be interrupted while working and the system’s performance is not affected.

Conclusions about a particular DocuWare user cannot be made through this method. No personal data is ever collected, in particular no user names or email addresses.

Transparency throughout is of top importance to us: click here to learn more about what kind of data is captured and how you can register to participate.

We would really appreciate it if you would sign up to take part in the CEIP and help us to make DocuWare even better and more user-friendly. Thank you!
