Kennesaw, Ga. June 22, 2016 – AlphaGraphics Idaho Falls signed for a full suite of Heidelberg products at drupa, including a Speedmaster XL 75-5+L with new drupa technology, Stahlfolder BH 66 6/4, and Prinect workflow. The end-to-end solutions will allow the company to increase capacity and drastically boost productivity.

Triple-Decker

“The XL 75 press will triple our productivity by allowing us to do larger format sizes and longer runs, which we currently outsource,” said Lynn Nelson, Owner.

The Speedmaster XL 75 will run alongside an existing Speedmaster SM 52 Anicolor, and comes equipped with the latest drupa innovation technology including Prinect Press Center XL with Intellistart 2, AutoPlate Pro, and a Preset Plus feeder and delivery. The press also includes Prinect Inpress Control, the unrivaled in-line color control device available on the market for makeready and continuous color monitoring and adjustment.

The Prinect workflow will replace its existing workflow while the Stahlfolder BH 66 will replace an older Stahlfolder B20. “Our [Stahlfolder] B20 had a very manual set-up,” said Walt Baker, Production Manager. “The BH 66 has impressive automation that will make finishing more efficient and increase throughput.”

Seamless Integration

AlphaGraphics purchased their first offset press from Heidelberg (SM 52 Anicolor) in 2012 — mapping out the company’s clear growth plan with increased flexibility, productivity and efficiency. Prior to the SM 52, the shop was purely digital. With new locations and increasing customer demands, these new investments will continue the path to future success through forward-looking integration.

“We are confident in the technological advancements that Heidelberg has made,” said Baker. “We have full accountability from Heidelberg to know that all of these products will work together seamlessly, and push us towards our business goals.”

AlphaGraphics Idaho Falls is the second largest AlphaGraphics franchise in the country with 4 locations in Idaho and Utah. Since opening its doors in 2008, AlphaGraphics Idaho Falls has kept a vision for changing the way printing companies serve businesses by solving communication needs, and delivering projects as promised, when promised.
