InterContinental New Orleans Hotel Selected as the Venue

Kansas City, MO — IBPI (www.ibpi.net) and the Southeast district of the Business Technology Association (BTA; www.bta.org) have partnered to host consecutive events in 2016 at the InterContinental New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana. IBPI’s March 16-18 meeting will combine its Regional Meeting and Annual Meeting of members. BTA Southeast will host its annual event, renamed Spring Break, on March 18-19, featuring a variety of educational sessions and networking opportunities. Both events will feature the products and services of a number of exhibiting sponsors. In addition, there will be attractive pricing and additional benefits for participating dealers and vendors.

IBPI and BTA Southeast were created by and continue to be governed by independent office technology dealers. Both organizations are fully dedicated to supporting, strengthening and advancing the dealer channel. By joining forces for these meetings for the second consecutive year, the organizations have ensured that in March 2016, New Orleans will be the “must-attend” gathering place for the industry’s leading, progressive dealership principals.

“We are very pleased to announce the continuation of this the alliance between BTA Southeast and IBPI, which began with our consecutive 2015 meetings in Orlando, Florida,” said BTA Southeast President Brian Snow. “We are likewise excited about the location of our 2016 meetings — New Orleans, one of the world’s most fascinating cities and home to a truly unique melting pot of culture, food and music.”

IBPI Executive Director Randy Horshok said he and the members of the IBPI Board of Directors are pleased to be joining BTA Southeast for a second year. “We had our most successful event in our history this past March, when we partnered with BTA Southeast during the 2015 Winter Break event,” he said. “Our members and vendors were extremely pleased with the synergy between the two organizations and our events. We are confident that 2016 — in New Orleans — will bring even more members of our two organizations together.”

In the coming months, watch www.bta.org/DistrictEvents and www.ibpi.net for more event details as the organizations’ event agendas are finalized.
