BREA, California – May 29, 2014 – Avery Products Corporation announces its latest addition to the Avery Design & Print family of products. Avery Design & Print is now available as a downloadable software program.  This software joins Avery Design & Print Online and Avery Design & Print for Tablets to provide easy, flexible customization of Avery labels, business cards, name badges, dividers and more, which can be printed from a variety of laser and inkjet printers.

The free Avery Design & Print software makes it easy to access built-in Avery templates, plus a user has the option to go online and choose from thousands of pre-designed templates that are available through the online version of the software.  A free MyAvery account lets a user save to the cloud and then access their Avery projects from virtually any device, including PC and Mac® computers and most popular tablets.  Users can also save their Avery files to their computer.

Avery Design & Print has the flexibility to meet a wide variety of needs.  If a DIY bride is creating special wedding favors and wants a completely personalized label, we make it easy.  If a company is having a large meeting and wants name badges, tent cards and even water bottle labels, the Apply Design feature allows them to easily create a matching suite of products.  Small businesses can add their logo or photos to everything from business cards to product labels to marketing materials with Avery products and Design & Print.  And of course, for large mailings whether for home or office, the drag-and-drop mail merge feature makes creating Avery address labels a snap.

Avery Design & Print included free fonts, or a user can access their system fonts for even more design choice.  Photos and clip art have similar support:  a free image gallery is included, but users can easily import their own logos, pictures and other graphics.

“We are proud to offer this free software for Avery templates,” said David Maxson, Senior Director of Digital, Web and Software at Avery Products Corporation.   “This is especially good news for people on-the-go who want to be able to customize or print their Avery projects wherever they are: at the office, on the road or on the couch.”

Previous users of Avery DesignPro® software will be happy to know that their saved projects can be transferred right into Avery Design & Print for updating.  Plus, many of the features of DesignPro are included, such as sequential numbering and bar code creation, including QR codes.
