Launches Nuvera 314 EA Perfecting Production System and Nuvera 157 EA Production System in Japan
TOKYO, January 24, 2014 —Targeting the high-speed digital printing markets, Fuji Xerox Co., Ltd. today launches two monochrome production systems—Nuvera 314 EA Perfecting Production System and Nuvera157 EA Production System with print speed of 314 pages per minute (ppm) Note1 and 157 ppm Note1 respectively.
Incorporating a tandem engine, the Nuvera 314 EA Perfecting Production System features the fastest print speed among Fuji Xerox’s monochrome cut-sheet production systems, while Nuvera157 EA Production System adopts a single engine. By adding the new systems to its monochrome digital printer lineup, Fuji Xerox allows customers to select systems more flexibly depending on their business lines and work volume.
By adopting the Emulsion Aggregation (EA) toner with an established reputation, the new systems realize offset-level monochrome print quality through a matte finish with controlled-gloss. In addition, the systems link with FreeFlow Digital Workflow Collection, Fuji Xerox’s software that enables users to enhance, automate and simplify the workflow. Moreover, by combining the systems with various finishing devices, the total printing processes from prepress to final output will be connected seamlessly, improving the overall productivity of the printing workflow.
As monochrome digital printing is used for a broad range of purposes from short-run and on-demand print as well as large-volume output including corporate reports, invoices, manuals, educational materials and booklets, high-level productivity and stable operations are indispensable for the systems.
