Wisconsin packaging technology leader has purchased the customer base and certain assets of Pennsylvania flexographic label printer.

Alexandria, Va. (October 1, 2015)–Epicomm, the Association for Leaders in Print, Mail, Fulfillment, and Marketing Services, has announced that Inland of La Crosse, Wis., a leader in advanced packaging technology, has purchased the customer base and certain assets of Monet Graphics, Inc., of Downingtown, Pa., a leading flexographic label printer.

The acquisition, first of its kind for the Wisconsin company, comes after a recent local expansion and rebrand, and is in keeping with Inland’s strategy to grow its presence in the pressure sensitive label and flexible packaging markets.

“It is our goal to continue to grow this company. Finding the right partners to join the Inland family is one component of our strategy,” explains Mark Glendenning, Inland Owner and Chief Executive Officer. “Not only did we see the level of experience and technical expertise that we were looking for in Monet, but its culture is one that fits well with what we’ve built at Inland.”

Steve Dudley, a Partner and Executive Vice President of Monet, will join Inland and continue to manage the operations at Monet’s current location. “We are pleased to have Steve join our team and are looking forward to his help as we work together to expand and grow,” says Glendenning.

“Inland is a great example of a forward-thinking company that is positioning itself for future success and growth,” notes Epicomm Vice President Tom Cobery. Epicomm’s Business Advisory Group provided Inland with ongoing strategic advice on growth, introduced the parties, and advised on the transaction price and structure, helping craft a Letter of Intent that was fair, balanced, and addressed the needs of both parties.

Founded in 1995, Monet Graphics employs 23 people at a 30,000-square-foot facility. Inland plans on capitalizing on the newly acquired company by maintaining and growing its existing business, with future plans to include new business. The plant will serve as an addition to Inland’s three facilities in La Crosse, where the company employs some 300 people.
