Los Angeles, CA – October 15, 2014 – Equipment Brokers Unlimited (EBU) announced today, that EBU Co-Founder, Jon Rashap, has returned to EBU as Chief Executive Officer to help EBU achieve its ambitious growth plan.

In 1990, Jon Co-Founded EBU with Dave Marder, and has remained a shareholder ever since then. In 1994, Jon became Co-Founder and President of DocuSource, a full service document technology company, based in Los Angeles, California. DocuSource, one of Ricoh’s largest U.S. dealerships, earned national recognition for its fast growth and customer delight programs. Jon served on Ricoh’s Dealer Council and was a regular speaker at Ricoh’s annual Dealer Conference.

On December 31, 2012 DocuSource was acquired by Konica Minolta. After the acquisition, Jon remained on as President of DocuSource. On April 1, 2014 Jon led the integration of DocuSource into Konica Minolta’s direct organization and ran the combined entity for Konica Minolta’s Southern California market ($125M, 450 employees) until September 31, 2014 when Jon left Konica Minolta to join EBU.

Dave Marder, Co-Founder of EBU, remains at EBU and moves from the role of President to Chairman. “I’m really excited about Jon rejoining EBU,” says Marder. “Jon’s leadership will make us better and our customers will greatly benefit from Jon’s industry experience.”
