Printing Impressions Editor-in-Chief Mark Michelson interviews Konica Minolta U.S. Vice President of Solutions and Production Planning Gavin Jordan-Smith at the Konica Minolta booth at drupa, the largest printing equipment exhibition in the world.

They discussed the long-anticipated drupa introduction of the AccurioJET KM-1 UV Inkjet Press, as well as the surprise introduction of the technology of AccurioJET KM-C Inkjet Press designed for production of folding cartons. “It’s more than just offering a press that can put down toner or ink on paper. With our new KM-C press we’re using our UV technology to allow aqueous ink to lay down on the paper as well. ”

Also discussed the end-to-end solutions offered by Konica Minolta. “It’s the entire value proposition that we’re offering.”
