The Imaging Supplies Coalition for International Intellectual Property Protection (ISC) announced that it had elected a new Chairman of the Board and three new officers at their annual meeting held June 16, 2015. Kevin Weaver, Vice President, Brand Protection Group, Xerox was named Chairman of the Board. He succeeds Andrew Gardner, World Wide Brand Protection Manager at Lexmark International.

Commenting on the election, Allen Westerfield, President of the Coalition said, “The Members and Board of Directors want to thank Andrew and Yuki Kawakami of Canon out going treasurer for their proactive involvement and support of the ISC. Our new Chairman, Kevin Weaver, brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the Chair and we look forward to continuing to build on our programs and initiatives under his leadership.”

Jeff Samson, Senior Manager Marketing at Samsung was named Chair-Elect. Glenn Gillen, Senior Product Manager, Brother International Corp. was elected Secretary for a second consecutive term and Andrew Gardner was elected treasurer.

Westerfield went on to say, “Each of these officers has broad experience in the imaging supplies industry and are their companies’ leaders in developing intellectual property rights protection strategies to defend their companies’ brand from illegal activity.”

The Imaging Supplies Coalition for International Intellectual Property Protection, Inc. is a non-profit association of imaging supplies Original Equipment Manufacturers. Coalition members are Brother International Corporation, Canon U.S.A., Inc., Epson America Inc., HP, Lexmark International, Inc., Samsung Electronics America, Inc. and Xerox Corporation.
