This is the 12th acquisition that the company has completed over the past two and a half years. In October of last year, Marco purchased Illinois Valley Business Equipment in Peru, Bloomington and Peoria, Illinois.

Since 2009, the company has grown from 270 employees to over 890 employees and now has 42 locations nationally. Fifty-five percent of that growth has come through Marco’s existing customer base and forty-five percent has been through acquisitions.

“Our acquisition strategy is to buy similar companies in locations where Marco doesn’t already have a presence,” said Marco CEO Jeff Gau. “We look forward to continuing BBE’s commitment to satisfying their clients and expanding the business IT services we can offer them.”

BBE has been in business for 47 years and serves over 1,400 customers. Their employees have joined the Marco team. “We are proud to be joining the trusted Marco team,” said Daron Smith, President of BBE. “Our customers who have relied on Better Business Equipment’s trust, honesty and integrity will continue to receive that same experience as we grow into the future.”
