From MSP Partners to Tech Sponsors, Attendees Tout Navigate 2016 as Most Valuable Industry Event; Navigate 2017 Set for October 2 to October 5, 2017 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas

BOSTON – Oct. 17, 2016 Continuum®, the only channel-exclusive IT management platform company, elevated Navigate 2016, its third annual user conference that took place on Wednesday, September 28 – Friday, September 30, 2016 in Boston, and set new standards as the top IT conference impacting all MSPs across the industry. Supported by nearly 40 sponsors and exhibitors, Navigate 2016 armed nearly 700 attendees with the knowledge and resources they need to build, manage and grow their business. Continuum is hosting Navigate 2017 on October 2 to October 5, 2017 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Continuum went beyond tech education, providing content that covered a broad range of topics for owners, service delivery managers and technicians, further demonstrating its commitment to helping partners not only succeed with the Continuum platform, but achieve their own growth and business goals. The sold out event featured more than 70 speakers across 36 breakout sessions and four keynote addresses with many MSP partners and industry experts on stage, imparting their experiences to help MSPs expand services and increase in growth and profitability.

With an emphasis on security, Navigate hosted special keynote speaker, Mike Buratowski, Senior Vice President of Cybersecurity Services at Fidelis Cybersecurity, who presented, “The Cybersecurity Opportunity – Helping Our Partners Protect Their Customers’ Most Sensitive Data.” He advised MSPs to take advantage of the opportunity in managed detection and response (MDR) in the SMB space. Today, MDR services are focused mainly on the enterprise and upper mid-market and only 15 percent of those organizations will have their own MDR services by 2020, creating potential business for MSPs.

Paul Chisholm, former mindSHIFT CEO who steered the company to become the No. 1 MSP in the U.S. for four straight years, presented the keynote, “The Revenue Challenge.” With a career that spans more than four decades in the industry and one of the best, long-term performance records of any CEO, Paul provided MSPs advice on how to grow and achieve success. Michael George, CEO at Continuum since 2011, captivated the crowd with his keynote address, “Take Flight,” touting six useful steps that MSPs must take to increase their valuation. Additionally, basketball legend, broadcaster and humanitarian, Bill Walton delivered a keynote on overcoming adversity, presented by Webroot, Titanium Sponsor of Navigate 2016, its third straight year as a top sponsor.

“Continuum’s Navigate 2016 is an essential event for Webroot,” said Charlie Tomeo, Vice President of Channel and Technical Sales at Webroot. “It presents us with the opportunity to speak with hundreds of MSP partners about the latest security trends and to share our latest findings on how MSPs can start and expand profitable businesses in cybersecurity. It’s also a great platform for us to demonstrate our commitment to MSP partners and Continuum.”

The conference schedule offered MSPs valuable networking opportunities among technology sponsors, top Continuum leadership, account managers who support MSPs every day, as well as access to more than 20 members of Continuum’s marketing team via the Grow Your Business Hub. A unique aspect of Navigate, the Hub is a one-stop shop for MSPs to receive immediate actionable insight, feedback and white-label collateral for print and digital designed to help generate leads, fill their sales pipeline and win new business.

“Navigate 2016 was very well done and worth every minute spent,” said Jeff Dotzler, Director at GFConsulting Group, a division of Gordon Flesch Company. “We continue to be excited about our partnership and look forward to the future together.”

“Thanks to the entire Continuum team for another terrific job at Navigate this year,” said Michael Maddox, President and CEO at ASK. “It was truly an outstanding event that was incredibly well organized, informative and energizing. We are already looking forward to next year.”

“Thanks for putting on an amazing conference,” said Brent Whitfield, CEO at DCG Technical Support. “All the sessions and keynotes – particularly Michael George’s – were spectacular.”

“Navigate 2016 was the best yet,” said Paul Rouse, President at Rouse Consulting Group. “Continuum is a fabulous organization that serves its partners well.”
