As COP21 put environmental concerns in the headlines, PrintReleaf is working to provide an even broader range of stakeholders access to practical solutions. Part of our strategy is to expand our advisory board, adding new members who bring diverse expertise and connections. We are pleased to announce that Talya Bosch, Vice President of Social Ventures, Internal Communications and Global Events at Western Union, has joined the board. Having built her career working at the intersection of business, social purpose and stakeholder engagement, Talya brings broad expertise in corporate responsibility and sustainability issues.

Talya is a frequent contributor at venues such as the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), the Social Innovation Summit, Business for Social Responsibility (BSR), FSG Shared Value Summit, and many others, as well as a member of the World Economic Forum working group on financial inclusion. Within Western Union, she is charged with helping the company leverage its assets – including shared valueproducts, responsible operations, cause-related marketing, and vast array of data – for greater business and social impact across 500,000 locations in the 200 countries where WU does business.

“I believe in the PrintReleaf mission, and in its smart, scalable approach to driving social, environmental and business impact,” Talya said. “The offering is so intuitive, it’s hard to believe it’s the world’s first turn-key approach to reforesting paper consumption in a way that creates jobs and is monitored for impact. I was honored to have this chance to contribute to a cause that is a personal passion, and one that can make a lasting difference for so many.”

Over the past decade, Talya helped conceive and implement Western Union’s first signature cause program, which won numerous awards, including the prestigious Committee Encouraging Corporate Philanthropy Excellence Award, and touched more than five million lives. She also created WU’s current corporate commitment, Education for Better, which was unveiled on the floor of the United Nations and has moved more than $7 billion for education in its first three years. Believing that the strongest brands and social movements are built from the inside out, Talya also leads WU’s global corporate internal communications and events. Her team focuses on engaging employees in WU’s customer-centric, purpose-driven culture through a variety of special initiatives and regular communications channels. (Twitter: @TalyaBosch)

“Our growing board reflects our ambitions for long-term growth and impact,” Jordan said. “Our board now includes experts in corporate responsibility, managed print services, sustainability and global reforestation. I believe this will help us take an even more customer-and community-centered view of our work, and enable us to deliver even greater value to a growing range of clients.”
