Colne, Lancashire, UK – 24 March, 2016 Tharstern, the worldwide specialist in management information systems for print, packaging and labelling industries, will be at the heart of the action in the Drupa Innovation Park in Dusseldorf, Germany, from 30th May to 10th June.

Visitors to Tharstern on Stand E28, Hall 7 will be shown specific applications and latest technologies from its team during ad hoc and scheduled demonstrations each day at the show. Tharstern’s focus on integration will be in an area hosted by CIP4, the association that it has been involved with for a long time.

Tharstern has broad industry knowledge across the many print and packaging industries for over 30 years. Its MIS has specific features that allow customers to easily manage multi-product campaigns at estimating and job stage.

Overworked output and reduced profit margins are among everyday challenges that can be costly and result in lost jobs. Experts from Tharstern will be sharing best practice and demonstrating to showgoers at drupa how they can optimise processes and automation through effective MIS.

Keith McMurtrie, Managing Director at Tharstern, said: “We’ve been a member of CIP4 since 2002 after realising very early on how important the JDF standard was going to be for our customers.  That’s why we wanted our presence at Drupa to be within CIP4’s Innovation Park area.  We have an ever increasing team of integration experts that we’re bringing to Drupa and they’re all happy to share their knowledge.  If anyone has any questions about workflow integration or automation, we’ll be on hand to offer a seat, a drink and the advice that they need!”

He added: “We’re delighted to be showcasing our market-leading Tharstern MIS in the Drupa Innovation Park. We will spotlight how our systems provide opportunities for realistic and achievable improvement. Our market-leading Tharstern MIS provides specific support for so many different applications – we know there will be massive interest in our stand.”

Tharstern, which was formed more than 30 years ago, has maintained sustained growth since a management buyout in July 2014. It launched into America last autumn and has a total of 7,000 users of its MIS and workflow solutions. Tharstern is trusted by over 600 UK print businesses and more than 50 in Australasia.
