By Cheryl Otstott – As we wind down 2015 I have a few things on my list that I want to tell you about but they do not lend themselves to a full blog post so I thought I would do an odd and ends, this and that, miscellaneous, bits and pieces type of blog. So I hope you find these interesting.

We have discussed the Genuine Xerox Rewards program, which awards you points for the toner and solid ink you purchase for your Xerox equipment, but a new element has been added recently. Now the first-of-its kind loyalty program in the printing and imaging industry extends to include the purchase of Xerox branded supplies for non-Xerox printers. This will allow you to earn even more points which can be redeemed for a wide variety of business related or personal merchandise and vouchers.

Mac users the driver for the popular Xerox WorkCentre 6015 printers and the Apple Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan has been released and is available on the Drivers and Download tab on the support page. The remaining expected drivers as notes in the driver compatibility document will be coming out soon. Please continue to check on the Drivers and Downloads tab for your model machine.

In the Buyers Laboratory Inc. Winter 2016 Pick Award the Xerox Color C60 Printer won the 2016 PRO award for Outstanding Color Light Production Device in part because of the ability of the printer to run many different types of media, color stability, and user replaceable items which lead to more uptime.

Document Manager Magazine, Europe’s leading trade publication on imaging technology, awarded the 2015 Product of the Year award to the Xerox DocuMate 4799 Scanner. Also receiving a top DM Award was software developer Office Gemini winning ‘Workgroup Imaging Product of the Year’ for its Dokmee data capture software, which is bundled with the DocuMate 4799. DTS Service, the international service partner for Xerox DocuMate scanners, was named ‘Service and Support Company of the Year’ by the magazine. See more about this honor in the press release.
