By Andy Slawetsky – Xerox recently hosted their NA Channels Production Print Summit at the Gil Hatch Center for Customer Excellence in Webster, NY, from May 13 to 25. This event brought together approximately 30 dealers, authorized agents, and office equipment resellers for a few days packed with presentations and hands-on demonstrations at Xerox’s premier customer facility.

The first morning began with a brief welcome from Richard Schaublin before jumping right into the content, which was focused on profits, profitability, and profits. Xerox spent a great deal of time showing attendees all the other things customers could print on these machines that they’re probably not doing yet.

Additional presentations included sessions outlining the special relationship Xerox has with Fiery, CMYK segments that showcased Xerox’s neon pink printing and advantages it offers to customers, fleet optimization and more. And we hadn’t even hit lunch yet.

The rest of the day was dedicated to exploring finishing and inline solutions, along with software solutions like FreeFlow Solutions and XMPie. The day concluded with a memorable dinner at Dinosaur BBQ, a beloved local honky-tonk in downtown Rochester, providing a perfect blend of learning and networking.

The second day shifted to hands-on activities as Xerox opened the production floor for practical training on their PrimeLink, Iridesse, and Versant printers. This immersive experience allowed attendees to get up close and personal with the technology, enhancing their understanding and proficiency.

Xerox managed to cram an impressive amount of information into these couple of days, ensuring that attendees left armed with a number of ideas and strategies to implement upon their return to their respective offices. The summit not only provided valuable insights but also equipped participants with actionable plans to drive their business forward.
