Rehovot, Israel – June 17, 2024Landa Digital Printing today announces unprecedented adoption of Nanography at Drupa 2024. Representing a seismic shift in how commercial print and packaging businesses see their futures, companies from countries all over the world ordered Landa S11 and Landa S11P Nanographic Printing® presses to access B1 digital printing for increased profit and sustainability benefits. Enabling them to move into mainstream digital print for the first time, and to transfer short to medium-run jobs from offset to digital, or simply to enable existing Landa customers to benefit from additional capacity – every business recognized Nanography® as a paradigm shift for their business – the critical growth engine for their current and future success.

Gil Oron, CEO, Landa Digital Printing comments: “Drupa 2024 has been a phenomenal event for us. The industry recognized that Nanography is a well proven solution, that is changing print for good – and making it a digital one. I think that it was also accepted by everyone that Nanography is enabling our customers to be very successful, and that our B1 digital presses are enabling them to be much more profitable and sustainable – significantly increasing their business growth. We came to Drupa with high expectations as to prospect meetings and potential orders, but we far exceeded those targets.

“High interest in our new S11 and S11P models – which are based on Landa’s proven platforms and are commercially available now with a high-speed module delivering 11,200 sheets per hour, and with PrintAi module for very high quality – turned to orders at the show. Over the 11 days of Drupa 2024, we were privileged to add some amazing businesses to our customer portfolio, as well as welcome thousands of visitors to our booth for press demonstrations and attendance at our daily theatre shows.”

On May 28th at its Drupa 2024 press conference, Landa and Cimpress announced an agreement representing a move by Cimpress into B1 digital print for the first time – enabling it to access a wide array of run lengths with very high level of print quality and speed. To support its focus on print mass customization, as well as the diversification and strengthening of its global production operations, Cimpress plans to install four Landa S11P Nanographic Printing® Presses straight away – with more Landa presses at a later stage.

The company also confirmed that existing Landa customers have leveraged Nanography to become very successful, with more than 20% of customers having already ordered a second or even a third press.

Furthermore, only seven months after installation of its first Landa S10P – for which the company moved all business to a new Landa B1 digital print powered direct mail service – WIRTZ Druck GmbH & Co. KG  announced its intention to install an additional Landa press, the Landa S11P. Also becoming Landa’s first European demo center, the new Landa press will support Wirtz Druck’s business growth. Excited by its new 11K Speed Module to increase speed to 11,200 sph, the second Landa press will be used to provide additional capacity, personalization, increased agility and flexibility, as well as business diversification.

With many other sales taken across Europe, North America and China, Landa used Drupa 2024 to extend the reach of Nanography throughout the world. In addition to adding customers to its Landa family, it also used the show to generate valuable market feedback, engagement and industry collaborations to aid additional future innovations. It also met with dozens of world leading brands, who came to Drupa 2024 with an interest to partner with Landa to use Nanography to support market differentiation and leverage its amazing color, personalization and ‘just in time’ benefits. The strategic collaboration with Gelato, which was also announced live at the show, is considered an excellent example for the power of such collaborations.

Gil Oron, concludes: “With the overwhelming interest and adoption of our Landa S11 and S11P presses, Drupa 2024 marks a transformative moment in the printing industry. Benny Landa’s vision of revolutionizing print with Nanographic printing is now a reality – digital printing for mainstream is empowering business worldwide to achieve exceptional levels of sustainability, efficiency, quality, innovation and growth.

“This tradeshow is not just a milestone for Landa, but a catalyst for the entire industry, heralding a future where digital print capabilities unlock limitless possibilities.”
