New Mobile Solution Transforms Learning Environments by Providing Big, Bright Displays Anywhere They are Needed

LOS ALAMITOS, Calif. – June 20, 2024 – As educators look for tools that keep students engaged in learning, Epson today announced it will demonstrate its next generation classroom solutions at ISTE 2024 in Denver, Colorado from June 24-26 in booth #1124. Epson will showcase its extensive lineup of lamp-free laser displays, including its first extreme short throw projector with 4K Enhancement1 for classrooms, interactive solutions for increased engagement, and a new mobile display solution designed to bring large images to any room in any learning environment.

“Epson continues to innovate and invest in the education market, developing value solutions that educational institutions want and need,” said Remi Del Mar, senior product manager, Epson America, Inc. “We look forward to showcasing how projection technology excels in providing flexibility, adaptability, compatibility, and performance in a cost-effective way. Our goal is to always provide a solid understanding of what is possible through projection technology, and help educators make the best long-term investments for their classrooms and other shared spaces.”

Offering big, vibrant images, convenient collaboration options and simplified integration, Epson technology helps make the most out of education spaces. At the booth, Epson will demonstrate how large displays impact classrooms and other education spaces and leave educators inspired with new ideas. Key takeaways include:

  • Immersive spaces for multipurpose classrooms with Epson PowerLite® 810E, PowerLite L770U 4KE solutions: Educators will experience different projection solutions and applications that take students out of traditional sitting-at-the-desk learning and place them into interactive educational experiences. Epson will show how flexible and scalable projection solutions can keep students engaged with immersive content and subject matter projected onto walls, floors and ceilings and how this can be achieved in a cost-effective way.
  • Flexibility, readability and large image size with Epson’s latest 4KE extreme short throw and mobile cart: Attendees will gain a better understanding of the latest projection technology and the various flexible display solutions that enable educators to optimize wall space and utilize smart, functional mobile solutions. Epson’s first extreme short throw lamp-free laser display with 4K Enhancement1 for classrooms – the PowerLite 810E – will be on display to show attendees the impressive image size that one projector can achieve. Capable of a 160-inch image merely inches away from the wall, one PowerLite 810E can deliver more than four times the display size of a 75-inch flat panel display. Additionally, Epson will be showing the new ELPCS01 Mobile Projector Cart – designed exclusively for use with the PowerLite 810E/815E – which enables easy transport while transforming nearly any wall into a larger-than-life display; ideal for shared spaces such as classrooms, gyms, meeting rooms, and more.
  • Enhanced lesson plan content to inspire creativity and learning: Booth visitors will also be able to see how the Epson DC-30 wireless 4K document camera and software-agnostic BrightLink® interactive displays can seamlessly integrate into current programs and curricula while creating an interactive learning space on nearly any wall. Additionally, attendees can engage and ask questions of Eduscape, Epson’s valued professional development partner, to gain a deeper understanding of how Epson technology works with familiar software packages such as Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace to lead compelling STEAM lessons, as well as teacher-led exercises for social-emotional development.
  • Large, impactful displays: The EB-PU2116W with the ELPLX02S ultra short throw lens will be demonstrated, showcasing how high brightness projectors are ideal for gymnasiums, e-sports and other applications. The compact EB-PU2116W produces ultra bright, 16,000-lumen images2 from a standard 120 V power source.
