Canon Arranges Exclusive Experience at Yankee Stadium for 100 Local Children and Their Families
Canon, a premier sponsor of the New York Yankees, recently celebrated the 21st Annual Canon Promotional Night at Yankee Stadium during the game between the Minnesota Twins and the New York Yankees. In addition to Canon distributing commemorative Juan Soto basketball jerseys to the game’s first 18,000 attendees, Canon also celebrated its longstanding partnership with the Townwide Fund of Huntington, which supports underserved families throughout the Town of Huntington, where Canon has been headquartered since 2013.
As part of the festivities, 100 tickets were secured so underserved children and their families could enjoy the Yankee game as Canon’s distinguished guests. The children and families who attended the game as Canon’s guests were from the Tri Community and Youth Agency, REACH Community and Youth Agency, Youth Directions & Alternatives, and the Huntington Youth Bureau Institute..

This year’s Canon Promotional Night at Yankee Stadium was made much more special because we were able to share it with The Townwide Fund of Huntington and these incredible children and their families,” said Dominic Janney, president of Canon Financial Services, Inc., who participated in a pregame ceremony on the field with Janice Whelan, president of the Townwide Fund of Huntington. “Sharing in their joy and excitement at Yankee Stadium was truly heartwarming and exemplified our dedication to making a positive impact in Huntington, where Canon has proudly called home for more than a decade.”
The Townwide Fund of Huntington has raised more than $14 million to support local charities and help improve the quality of life for Huntington residents in need, of which Canon has been a proud sponsor for ten years. Canon has partnered with the fund to advance its efforts to infuse local health and human services organizations with the support they need and to fill funding gaps. Canon also encourages employees to volunteer at many Townwide Fund initiatives and organizes opportunities for employees to assist.
