A global national defence contractor found printing across their five business units a potential risk to data confidentiality. With employees having access to sensitive government contracts, basic pull printing was not enough to avoid ensure federal state security.  The customer wanted to proactively control content being printed based upon classification criteria.

Data loss prevention (DLP) print policies were implemented when printing from any mobile phone, PC or laptop and documents were either blocked from being printed by unauthorised personnel, or watermarks were printed to caution authorised personnel on the sensitivity level of classified documents.
