November 9, 2017 — Lyndhurst, NJ — Hop Industries, manufacturer of the durable Hop-Syn synthetic paper, today announces that its participation at two industry-leading events, PRINT 17 and SGIA Expo, was a tremendous success. Attendees had the opportunity to speak with Hop-Syn experts and receive free samples of backlit signage and P-O-P displays printed by Electronics For Imaging (Nasdaq:EFII) and swissQprint. Hop Industries also handed out Hop-Syn synthetic paper samples, which range in applications from anti-theft packaging and loyalty cards to banners and menus.

Executive interviews and live printing demonstrations from the events are featured on the company’s Youtube channel. Interested parties unable to attend the events are encouraged to contact Hop-Syn to receive free samples or to speak with an expert to discuss the various ways to use the synthetic paper for their print projects.

“We are exceptionally pleased with the results from PRINT 17 and SGIA Expos,” comments Jack Smith, Senior Vice President, Hop Industries. ”Events like these give us the opportunity to meet face to face with our customers and partners. We hear first-hand how they value the consistency, quality, and durability of the Hop-Syn synthetic paper.”

At SGIA Expo, EFI printed high quality, backlit Hop-Syn signage using the EFI™ VUTEk® LX3 Pro printer and Hop-Syn BL grade synthetic paper. At swissQprint’s booth, the company printed bold P-O-P displays with its Nyala LED printer and Hop-Syn XT grade synthetic paper.

About Hop-Syn

Hop-Syn® is a division of Hop Industries Corp. based in Lyndhurst, NJ. Hop-Syn is a synthetic paper constructed from polypropylene (PP) resins and calcium carbonate (CaCO3), which provide extra durability and weather resistance over traditional pulp-based papers. Customers use Hop-Syn to print high quality graphics via offset litho, uv offset, flexo, screen, uv ink jet or thermal transfer equipment. Each Hop-Syn grade has unique characteristics to match the application, hence the phrase, “The Application Specific Synthetic Papers.” If customers need foldability for a map, there’s a grade for that. If customers need thickness for a P-O-P sign, there’s a grade for that. If customers need translucency for a light box, there’s a grade for that. If customers need extra opacity for a block out window sign, there’s a grade for that. For more information, visit www.hopsyn.com or call 800-524-0757.
