Ramsey, NJ – November 19, 2018 – Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta) is pleased to announce it has received the 2018 Frank Award in the Best Marketing Strategy category for the second year in a row. The award was presented at the 33rd Annual Awards and Charities Dinner earlier this month.

Also honored at this event was Laura Blackmer, senior vice president, Dealer Sales, at Konica Minolta, for Best Female Executive. This was the fourth consecutive year that Blackmer has won this prestigious award and industry recognition.

The Frank Awards were established to recognized excellence in the business technology and imaging industry. The awards are determined by a survey of the independent dealer community based on performances evaluated for the 2017 calendar year. The event raised and pledged $180,000 for Tackle Kids Cancer, a philanthropic program benefitting the Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack University Medical Center. Separately, Konica Minolta is a multi-year sponsor of the Tackle Kids Cancer program through fund raising events sponsored by the company.

“Our awards are determined by the results of an Annual Dealer Survey of independent dealers nationwide that are the customers of the manufacturers in the imaging industry. Because dealers carry multiple lines of products from various manufacturers, their views are backed by a great deal of authority. That Konica Minolta has been honored with a Frank Award for Best Marketing Strategy two years in a row acknowledges that the independent dealer channel values the company’s leading-edge products, outstanding management, and its unique and innovative marketing strategies. That Laura Blackmer has been named Best Female Executive four years in a row is a resounding declaration of her professionalism and leadership,” said Frank G. Cannata, president and CEO, and CJ Cannata, EVP and publisher of The Cannata Report.

“I’m truly honored to have received this Frank Award and the recognition by dealers in the print and imaging industry,” said Blackmer. “Along with these awards, we’re delighted to be associated with the Tackle Kids Cancer program in helping to raise funds for their important work.”
