So, how do we protect ourselves? One of our IT specialists created a cybersecurity checklist that has been valuable to our company and customers and I thought would also be valuable to you.
Here are just a few of the key steps to take:
- Execute a strong password policy, including complex passwords with more than 8 characters and changed every 90 days.
- Use automatic screen lock.
- Physically and digitally secure devices.
- Train employees on suspicious emails.
- Conduct vulnerability scans.
