Kodak has announced enhanced connectivity for its PRINERGY workflow software used on Konica Minolta’s AccurioPress systems driven by its Image Controller IC-604 or IC-605 and its AccurioJet KM-1 B2+ high speed flagship UV inkjet industrial press.
Deeper integration from PRINERGY 8.3 now enables Windows 2016 Server Support and a digital press colour management delegation within job ticket editor, which is a major benefit for true hybrid print operations. Print settings such as paper, number of copies and finishing options can be changed directly from Kodak’s PRINERGY 8.3.
The software – based on JDF – achieves a seamless hybrid workflow of offset printing and digital printing that is more user-friendly than ever before. This provides customers with a more efficient production environment and new business opportunities that take full advantage of on-demand printing.
