IRVINE, Calif. (March 2, 2015) —To address the needs of busy departments and light production environments, Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc.today introduces its e-STUDIO™907/1057/1207 series. By blending a wide array of speed and performance options throughout, Toshiba’s latest addition to the e-STUDIO line is capable of fulfilling the document output needs of virtually any organization, particularly enterprise companies.

Delivering up to 120 pages-per-minute, the e-STUDIO1207 completes the most ambitious print and copy jobs in short order. A Duplex Single Pass Feeder (DSPF) processes single-sided originals for copying or scanning to file or email at a brisk 120 originals-per-minute (OPM) and double-sided originals at 200 OPM. All three models in Toshiba’s new product line couple a 3 ½ minute warm-up speed with a first-copy-out time of four seconds or less.

Users should further appreciate the products’ superior 1,200 x 1,200 dots-per-inch (dpi) resolution producing consistently crisp images and text. The e-STUDIO1207 series also features genuine Adobe PostScript 3, a critical requirement for the print production world due to its proven consistency between what the document creator sees on their screen and the printed output.

Through its array of advanced finishing choices – from a 100-sheet finisher with 80-page booklet maker and trimmer option to a multi-fold unit and two-tray inserter – the e-STUDIO1207 series is perfectly suited for a wide variety of job types. To effectively tackle organizations’ production-level demands, these models combine a 13,500-sheet maximum paper capacity with a robust maximum monthly duty cycle of one-million impressions.

For ease of use, Toshiba’s new multifunction products implement an intuitive, 10-inch, LCD display featuring the swipe-touch technology prevalent in smartphones and tablet PCs. To further improve usability, users may easily access the panel’s keyboard to facilitate text-heavy tasks.

To help alleviate the concern of potential data loss, the e-STUDIO1207 series comes standard with a suite of prominent security features including data overwriting, encryption and user authentication. As a result of incorporating the latest in security functionality throughout the new e-STUDIO products, users may better maintain their valuable data.
Toshiba’s multifunction products also conform to the company’s mandate to reduce environmental impact by meeting the stringent Restriction of Hazardous Substances directive – or RoHS – compliance. By addressing the U.S. Department of Energy’s and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s energy efficiency standard, the e-STUDIO1207 series is also ENERGY STAR® awarded.

As an eco-sensitive company, Toshiba offers free toner recycling via its “Zero Waste to Landfill” program. Through its partnership with Close the Loop, Toshiba accepts all brands of spent toner cartridges. To further bolster customers’ sustainability efforts, Toshiba allows users to properly recycle its e-STUDIO products once they are no longer operational.
“With the availability of our e-STUDIO1207 series, we’re providing our customers with high performance, production-level products to keep pace with today’s business climate,” said Toshiba America Business Solutions Chief Marketing Executive, Bill Melo. “These new models bring the latest technology and feature set to offer our larger customers a clear advantage.”
