Clover Partners with the Jillian Fund – Cartridge Collection Program Raises Money for Families in Need

CHICAGO, IL – February 21, 2019 – Clover Imaging Group (CIG) has partnered with the Jillian Fund to provide financial support to parents with children who are suffering life-threatening illnesses requiring critical care. CIG’s new cartridge collection program is aimed at raising money for the Jillian Fund. Dealers who sign up for the cartridge collection program will receive 100% value on all empties collected, and CIG will donate 25% of all collections to the Jillian Fund on behalf of the dealer.

“One of the most gratifying aspects of our business is that it has afforded us the opportunity to give back to communities in need and causes that inspire us,” said Jim Cerkleski, Chairman of the Board at Clover. “Thanks to our partnership with the Jillian Fund and our exciting new cartridge collection program, we’ll be able to provide vital financial support to those who need it most.”

The Jillian Fund recognizes the importance of parental support and believes that children facing life-threatening illnesses should never face them alone. Each day, thousands of critically ill children face long hospital stays without a parent by their side because the parent is financially unable to leave work. The Jillian Fund is dedicated to uniting families in need during their most critical times and providing academic financial support to young women who demonstrate Jillian’s legacy of living by example and conquering fear with faith. To date, the Jillian Fund has raised more than $1.6 million for more than 150 families.

“We started the Jillian Fund in Jillian’s memory, and to honor her legacy by helping to lessen the burden of suffering children and families in need,” said the Jillian Fund Board. “We are grateful for our partnership with Clover Imaging Group because it will allow us to help so many more distraught families.”

Community is a key priority for CIG. Worldwide, CIG facilities tailor their own philanthropic efforts to the communities where they live and work. Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Wounded Warriors, American Heart Association, Gigi’s Playhouse, and the Special Olympics are just some of the programs and organizations that CIG employees have chosen to support as a company.

It also funds childcare, travel, lodging and meals for those who must travel to be with their children during treatment. The Fund exists in honor of Jillian Gorman, who lost her life after a battle with cancer in 2013.
