Copiers Northwest has acquired Blackburn Office Equipment‘s copier division, which focuses on Sharp and Samsung equipment. Financial terms were not disclosed. The move further scales Copier Northwest’s business, while Blackburn has repositioned as Blackburn Office Interiors and Design.

Copiers Northwest (Seattle, Washington), owned and operated by Mark and Gregg Petrie, is one of the largest independent office equipment dealers in the United States. Founded in 1986, the company works closely with Canon, HP Inc. and others.

Copiers Northwest has 250 employees and generates over $50 million in annual revenue from 11 operating locations throughout Washington and Oregon, according to Mike Dudek, who served as legal counsel on the firm’s acquisition.

Blackburn, meanwhile, is owned by Randy and Mary Grunhurd and operated by Randy Grunhurd. The company launched in 1945 and has been in the Grunhurd family since 1962. After selling the copier piece of the business, Blackburn now focuses mainly on furniture and other office products, Dudek indicated.
