KV-S7097 offers up to 95 ppm/190 ipm output1, mixed document feeding & long-paper mode

NEWARK, N.J.—August 16, 2016— Panasonic System Communications Company of North America, Division of Panasonic Corporation of North America, an industry-leading producer of best-in-class document management and imaging solutions, today announced the release of the high-speed KV-S7097 A3 Flatbed Production scanner, which combines 95 ppm/190 ipm1 productivity with the flexibility of twin document feeders — a 200-sheet ADF for normal one-sheet originals and a flatbed for scanning books, magazines and thick documents such as passports and appointment calendars.

“There’s no substitute for speed in the high-impact industries which form our core user-base,” said PSCNA Product Manager Joseph Odore. “Government, Healthcare, Finance, Manufacturing, Transportation, Insurance Agencies, and Service Bureaus all operate in demanding, workflow-intensive environments that place a premium on hardware efficiency. Panasonic’s KV-S7097 scanner can help fast-track data input, digitalization and storage while increasing operator productivity, an important consideration at a time when office workforces have been downsized.”

Other advanced features of the Panasonic KV-S7097 scanner include high-efficiency consecutive scanning of ADF and flatbed documents, automatic separation of scanned images from two-page book, magazine, and other bound-volume spreads into discrete single-page electronic sheets, accurate scanning of EKG monitoring sheets and similar long documents, multi-cropping for single-pass scanning of different-sized small items, and mixed document feeding with user-selectable page alignment. A user friendly built-in A3 ledger flat bed automatically switches between the sheet-fed ADF and flatbed scanner during scanning. One touch scanning provides up to 9 different frequently used scanning jobs which can be registered for further time saving efficiency.

The Suggested Retail Price for the KV-S7097 is: $8,995.00.

1 190ipm available only on the KV-S7097. Scanning speeds differ based on the host computer, operating system, application, data amount and paper type.
