The PowerLite 700U Delivers Bright, Full HD Images with Virtually Maintenance-Free Operation

LONG BEACH, Calif. – March 4, 2019 –  The Epson PowerLite® 700U ultra short-throw 3LCD laser display has won a TCEA Best of Show Award from Tech & Learning magazine. The annual awards program recognizes products and services from exhibitors at the TCEA conference that could have the most impact in the classroom. During the tradeshow, selected Tech & Learning advisors evaluate submitted products and services, rate their impressions on a sliding scale, and meet to decide which technologies deserve the “amazing” moniker. This is the third time Epson, the number-one selling projector brand worldwide, has won the TCEA Best of Show Award.

The Epson PowerLite 700U inspires creativity and collaboration with its large image – up to 130 inches in portrait or landscape mode – and diverse connectivity options. With 4,000 lumens of white brightness and 4,000 lumens of color brightness1, as well as native WUXGA Full HD resolution, the PowerLite 700U delivers amazing image quality even in well-lit classrooms. Its laser light source also provides up to 20,000 hours of virtually maintenance-free operation2.

“The PowerLite 700U is the answer to educators and administrators’ requests for low maintenance-high brightness projection technology in the classroom,” said Jason Meyer, group product manager, Projectors, Epson America, Inc. “Receiving a TCEA Best of Show Award from Tech & Learning recognizes Epson’s commitment to creating display solutions that meet educators’ needs for image quality, high color brightness, and connectivity.”

The PowerLite 700U enables easy content sharing with the Epson iProjection™3 App available for Chromebooks, PCs, and Mac®computers, as well as iOS and Android devices. Educators can share content between the display and up to 50 wirelessly connected student devices. Acting as the moderator, educators also see thumbnails of each student’s screen to ensure they are on task and can choose up to four to display simultaneously to create an engaging, collaborative classroom experience.

As a leader in innovation and partnership, Epson also offers the Brighter Futures® program, a unique sales and support initiative available specifically for schools. Designed to help educators select and implement the best products for their classrooms while making the most of their budgets, Brighter Futures offers special pricing, extended Epson limited warranty coverage for a total of three years, dedicated education account managers, and toll-free technical support for all Epson projectors and associated accessories.
