Yet another print industry show has now been cancelled. Toshiba’s LEAD 2020 Conference, scheduled to be held at ARIA Hotel in Las Vegas NV in May is now off. Here’s the letter President and CEO Scott Maccabe has just sent out.

Dear Valued Business Partner,

In light of the growing concerns around COVID-19 and the CDC recommendations to limit travel and large-scale events, Toshiba’s LEAD 2020 will be canceled.   While we will miss the opportunity to exchange ideas with you in-person, our focus is on the health and safety of our valued customers, partners, employees and everyone who helps execute the event.

We will be increasing virtual and, when possible, smaller local events throughout the year to ensure that we still have an opportunity to cover topics of interest including the launch of several exciting new products and programs.

We look forward to your participation as we continue to find new ways to educate and engage.

In the meantime, please mark your calendars for LEAD 2021, which is set to take place the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas on May 11-12, 2021. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
