COVID-19 – What We’re Doing at Pacific Office Automation

As the coronavirus event continues to unfold in the U.S. with almost daily updates and actions, we want to share with you what Pacific Office Automation (POA) is doing to ensure top-level service for you and your organization. First and foremost, of course, is protecting the health and safety of our employees, customers, and the community. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all impacted by the coronavirus outbreak.

Our current business plan is focused on providing the best level of support for you as possible, as we navigate this evolving health situation. We have met with our management and leadership to constantly monitor the current situation and to ensure employee and customer safety and provide guidance to all of our employees.

In an effort to lower the health risk to all involved, our technical staff and customer care are going to ultimately try to Phone Fix your products and services as a first priority, while having someone on-site as a last option. To reduce contact, we are asking our technicians to limit access to any POA buildings and only enter customer sites if all other options have been exhausted. We have suspended any salespeople from making unwarranted in-person sales calls, without essential reasons to do so.

We would also ask that you share your organization’s expectations of our team members who may come to provide service or work at your site. This would include immediately sharing with us if there would be a situation that would put one of our employees at risk. Thank you in advance for this.

Our technology infrastructure and workforce is prepared for specific opportunities for a work-from-home strategy as applicable and necessary. Again, the health and safety of our employees and clients is our utmost priority.

Our plan is to remain as fully operational as possible under these circumstances and to be prepared to deliver a great customer experience which you have always counted on.

Many of our current customers have already asked us for help in assisting with their work from home set up. POA is willing and capable to help any customers with products to assist in those working from home (computer, phone, printer, etc.). We are also offering at No Charge, desktop video conferencing (phone bridge application) until the end of the year.
