The innovative new training department unites key resources to propel employees’ long-term development and cater to evolving learning needs in an ever-changing industry.

LAKE FOREST, IL – May 16, 2018 – Impact, a marketplace leader in the business process optimization space, formally launched an innovative new training department, focusing on long-term employee development and ongoing education. The Impact Leadership Institute materialized after a record-setting growth year for Impact (up 61% from 2016), and an intensified need for more nuanced, long-form education.

According to Impact CEO, Frank Cucco, the company’s consistent and substantial growth is the direct result of talented people embracing and implementing trailblazing technologies, fueled by high-performing culture and geographical expansion. The growth has required ongoing, inventive approaches to developing, growing, challenging, and nurturing the largescale workforce.

“As we differentiate and diversify, we’re moving into a higher-end, more technically complex type of recurring revenue model that requires better trained individuals,” said Cucco. “The company is a big puzzle with a lot of pieces and it takes teams of people working together to achieve such growth. As a whole, we are creating something that has never been done before.”

To accomplish this, Cucco looked internally to seven-year Impact veteran and previous Sales Manager, Ashley Carnes, who led her sales team to double-digit growth in under three years, and understood the skills needed to be effective in the field and accountable to clients. Her vision for the program is aided by industry education expert, Randy Tucker, a longtime vendor and partner to Impact, who recently came onboard as the Vice President of Education, and Lecia Savitski, Impact’s Director of Sales Training for the past five years.

The Impact Leadership Institute will lead new employees through a multi-year training program, afford tenured employees advancement benchmarks and certifications, provide specialized learning paths, and offer custom workshops and weekly learning sessions to ensure employees’ long-term success. The Leadership Institute will also be a multi-location, cross-departmental resource in efforts to cultivate new markets and grow mature ones, and eventually, build a proprietary industry-leading learning library across all core competency areas.

“These assets and practices will be instrumental in our growth efforts and scalability,” said Carnes who in her new position as Director of Sales Strategy, is dedicated to ensuring cross-departmental cohesion through sales process standardization, talent development, and sales messaging strategy.

At the Impact Leadership Institute, training will begin with an intensive one-week program for new hires named “Foundations”, that will serve as an introduction to Impact’s company profile, business model, evolution, go-to-market strategy, vision for the future and team-oriented culture. It will accommodate all departments including Administration, Logistics, Service, Internal Development, Managed I.T., Design & Marketing, Telemarketing, Managed IT, Recruiting, and Sales, and more.

“The Impact Leadership Institute’s “Foundations” course is hands down the best training I’ve ever received in my professional career,” said new employee, Andrew Kraig. The week long course developed our sales skills and industry knowledge, while teaching us about Impact’s core values. Also, getting to meet several executives and hear their stories definitely made a big impact on all of us.”

Once a hardware dealer in the digital office equipment space, Impact has evolved into a leader of Managed I.T. & Cloud Security, Digital Transformation, Robotic Process Automation, Managed Print Services, Enterprise Content Management, Branding & Marketing and much more.
