Des Plaines Office Equipment CEO Chip Miceli participates at Select Dealer Group (SDG) trade association conference held in Las Vegas

CAROL STREAM, IL, ISSUED JUNE 6, 2018…Chip Miceli, President/CEO of Des Plaines Office Equipment (http://dpoe.com), a 60+ year old, second-generation family business providing document management and managed network services, was one of several dozen industry executives to participate in a conference of the Select Dealer Group, held at the MGM Hospital in Las Vegas.
The meeting was held in conjunction with the ITEX show, an industry event which brings dealers and vendors together from all around the world.
 
Miceli is one of the original founders of the organization, which includes members from across the United States and internationally, who meet three times a year to share industry best practices. He is one of the organization’s past presidents and a former member of the Board of Directors. This month’s meeting included discussions about Managed Print Services, IT Solutions, Security/Robotics, and the future of the industry.
 
The conference additionally included a “Best Practices Operating Expenses Benchmark” session among industry leaders; Miceli was a panelist for this portion of the program.
He said, “This is a great organization which provides immense benefits to its dealer members. The opportunity for dealers from across the country to collaborate in an environment like this is beneficial to our members, and ultimately to the customers they serve. I always consider my time with Select Dealer Group and its members to be time well spent.”
