TOPP BUSINESS SOLUTIONS ACQUIRES RAYSTOWN OFFICE EQUIPMENT SERVICES, INC.
SCRANTON, PA– Topp Business Solutions (TBS), one of the largest family owned office automation dealers in Pennsylvania, is expanding by creating opportunity through acquisition. The 60-year-old company has acquired Raystown Office Equipment Services, Inc. in Altoona, PA, a copier/printer sales and services provider for Konica Minolta. Raystown was founded in 1982 and serves the Central Pennsylvania region.

TBS, now in its third-generation of family leadership; employs over 100 people, who operate out of its four locations in Scranton, Allentown, Montoursville and Altoona, generated $20 million plus in revenue during fiscal 2016. TBS has provided technology and office automation services to the Northeast, Central and Leigh Valley local industries for over sixty years. “We needed to further position ourselves as a leading force in the industry within the Central, PA marketplace. With the addition of Raystown, TBS will further solidify its position as the most advanced technological service provider available,” said Barry Fineberg, VP of Sales for TBS in the Central, PA region. “It is clear our customers are changing and expect more from their vendors. TBS has positioned itself to make further acquisitions in the near future. The company recently hired Bill Truchan, an expert in the field of mergers and acquisitions, to create further expansion for the company.
