POLAR’s new training center was recently taken into operation. It accommodates up to 24 trainees who receive instruction in two different trades. Training young people has always been a very important area of focus for POLAR. For this reason the company is still training highly-qualified young talent beyond its own requirements.

A traineeship at POLAR is not only held in very high regard within the borders of the Main-Taunus district. POLAR offers traineeships in both commercial and industrial professions. As a mechanical engineering company, it places great emphasis on training in industrial professions. For this reason the industrial trainees have their own workshop, where two instructors focus on the professional qualification of the young trainees. To ensure that these high standards are also maintained in the future, POLAR has now invested in a new training center.

The previous building in which they were trained was no longer in keeping with current standards. For this reason POLAR decided to invest in a new training center. The existing facilities were modified to comply with the traineeship standards and to suit the needs of the young trainees. After the rooms were renovated and refurbished and investment was made in additional equipment, the modern training center was recently inaugurated.

“The trainees and we as their instructors are very pleased with the new, modern training center. We can already say that this investment was definitely worth it. Training is now even more enjoyable for everyone”, commented Stefan Jösch, one of the two instructors, with great satisfaction.

POLAR offers traineeships in three recognized professions: Industrial Management Assistant, Industrial Mechanic and Mechatronics Engineer. The three and a half year traineeships are a combination of practical work and theoretical training at vocational schools. This ensures that professional and theoretical knowledge is given equal weight.
