Annual Fundraiser Sponsored by Hytec Dealer Services, PSIGEN Software, and Continuum

July 25, 2019 (Hamburg, NJ)–The Cannata Report, the intelligence resource for business technology and imaging solutions resellers, will host its 34th Annual Awards & Charities Dinner to raise funds for Tackle Kids Cancer, a philanthropic program benefitting the Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack Meridian Health. To be held at The Madison Hotel in Morristown, New Jersey, on November 7, 2019, the Cannata Dinner is sponsored by Hytec Dealer Services, PSIGEN Software, Inc. and Continuum.

This is the second year in a row that The Cannata Report will raise funds for Tackle Kids Cancer. It also represents the 5th time it is partnering with Hackensack Meridian Health on its annual fundraiser, having previously raised funds to establish endowments honoring industry colleagues, and contributing to the John Theurer Cancer Center. To date, The Cannata Report has raised close to $750,000 for Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation alone, and collectively raised $2.5 million dollars for charitable causes nationwide.

“When Joseph Burt, vice president, development, Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation, spoke at our dinner last year, he said something that took me by surprise: pediatric cancer research is underfunded because children make up a small percentage of cancer patients and the pharmaceutical industry doesn’t consider it as lucrative as adult cancer research. For that reason, we have pledged this year’s fundraising efforts once again to Tackle Kids Cancer and the amazing team at the Children’s Cancer Institute to help fund its current programs focused on finding a cure for childhood cancer,” said CJ Cannata, president and CEO.

“Based on their past success and with additional matching funds generated this year, The Cannata Report’s charity dinner will approach an extraordinary milestone of contributing $1 million in funds raised for the Hackensack UMC Foundation.  We are extremely grateful to Frank, his wife Carol and their son CJ for their continued generosity and friendship,” added Burt.

“With each passing year, our event, and our gratitude grows exponentially because of the overwhelming support we receive from our generous sponsors, client partners, and subscribers,” said Frank G. Cannata, founder of The Cannata Report. “We are overjoyed the Cannata Dinner has allowed us to make a substantial contribution to Hackensack UMC Foundation headquartered in our home state of New Jersey.”

Winners of the Frank Awards that honor business leaders from the manufacturer, financing, and software and services segments of the imaging industry will be announced at the Cannata Dinner. New this year is an award that will recognize excellence in IT Services. The Cannata Report’s Annual Dealer Survey sponsored by TIAA Bank and conducted from March through June each year determines the recipients of the Frank Awards.
