ComColor GD Series, New T2 Configuration Featured in Chicago

Burlington, MA — August 30, 2018 — RISO, Inc. will be exhibiting its full array of inkjet products at Booth 3611 of PRINT18 this September 30 through October 2 in Chicago, IL. The showcased product will be the ComColor GD Series, a compact, energy-efficient cut sheet printer that uses the company’s patented FORCEJETTM Technology to produce full color prints at a rate of up to 160 pages per minute.

This versatile device is well suited to high-volume, variable data printing as well as mid-volume office production, and is positioned as an excellent entry point into color inkjet technology. The GD Series comes with an embedded GDI and offers an optional production RIP with a Fiery-enabled digital front end developed specifically for RISO, Inc. by EFI.

The RISO T2, a high-speed duplexing device that can achieve up to 320 cut sheet color impressions per minute, was showcased at last year’s PRINT17 to great acclaim. Intended as a solution for the high-volume transactional printing market, the T2 this year boasts a roll-based feed device that produces cut sheet color prints at the same high output speeds.

Long recognized as an innovator of inkjet printing technology, the ComColor GD and FW series are RISO’s fifth generation of inkjet printer. The ComColor series is renowned for high productivity, energy efficiency and reliability.
