I just attended the Ricoh Production Analyst Event at their facility in Boulder Colorado. I hadn’t been to this facility before and it was great seeing Ricoh’s newly revamped Customer Innovation Center filled with all sorts of production printing equipment and solutions. It’s a great place where Ricoh can bring customers to see all their production solutions under one roof.

What did I see? I can’t tell you, it was all under NDA. If you want to see first hand, everything will be at Graph Expo at the end of Sept. in Chicago. If you are into production print, you should be there and I can tell you that you can’t help but be impressed by what you’ll see.

The other big news that came out while we were in Boulder was the announcement that longtime Ricoh (and Lanier) executive Tim Vellek is the new Senior Vice President of Marketing, replacing Dominic Pontrelli who has retired. Tim is great and I think dealers are going to love him in this role. He has a great team under him and I am confident in their ability to continue keep the momentum they’ve built over the last couple of years.
