Ramsey, N.J. – September 9, 2017 – Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta) is honored to announce that Hampton Hale, Director of Program Development, will be inducted into Idealliance’s Soderstrom Society at the annual Soderstrom Awards Dinner on Sept. 9, the evening before the opening of the PRINT 2017 show.

The Soderstrom Society, an honors association, recognizes the contributions of professionals whose careers have advanced the visual communications and media industry.

“Nothing in our industry happens on its own, but through people with vision and dedication,” said Hale. “I am humbled to be an inductee of the Soderstrom Society and honored to be associated with its members.”

Hale is a sales program architect, executive business leader and operations director with strategic account management, program integration and business analytics experience. He is currently responsible for two national sales programs and a Ramsey, NJ-based sales operations team.

“Our 2017 Soderstrom Society inductees have served with dedication and distinction across print, mail and digital communications, and in a range of expertise in manufacturing, marketing, standards and technology,” said David Steinhardt, Idealliance President and Chief Executive Officer. “Their accomplishments have had a positive impact on the entire industry and make graphic communications more competitive in a changing media landscape. We are pleased to be able to recognize them with induction into this illustrious circle.”

The Soderstrom Society is named for Walter E. Soderstrom, one of the founders of the National Association of Printing Leadership (NAPL), an Idealliance predecessor association. The Society’s origins date back to the 1930’s when membership was limited to NAPL members. Today, the society is represented by leaders from the industry-at-large, including print, fulfillment, marketing service providers, journalists and educators.
