Product Overview

The new DS-780N Series consist of three scanners added to Epson’s lineup of devices aimed at small-to-medium-sized workgroups. They range from 35ppm to 45ppm simplex speed and include Epson’s new three-year limited warranty with next business day device replacement.

The series are:

  • The DS-575W($449 MSRP) scans at up to 35ppm simplex and up to 70ipm duplex (in both black and color). It has a daily duty cycle of 4,000 sheets and a 50-sheet automatic document feeder. It has standard wireless connectivity.
  • The DS-770($999 MSRP) scans at up to 45ppm simplex and up to 90ipm duplex (in both black and color). It has a daily duty cycle of 5,000 sheets and a 100-sheet automatic document feeder. Epson offers an optional networking kit for this scanner.
  • The DS-780N($1,099 MSRP) includes most of the same technical specs as the DS-770. However, it has standard networking connectivity as well as a built-in LCD touch screen panel and network security features (such as user authentication).
