I’m running a million pages on a couple of Samsung A3 MFP’s (the 60-PPM K7600GX and X7600GX copiers). I’m also running a reliability evaluation on the monochrome 45-PPM M4580FX MFP to see how hard we can push it before it needs a service call.

So far I’ve run about 275,000 pages through this machine in about 6 week and it’s quietly chugging along. Pages have been both printed and copied and almost all pages have been two sided in order to really stress the machine.

Here’s the bottom line. This machine has pumped out a lifetime worth of volume in only 6 short weeks without an emergency service call. Based on what I’ve seen so far, a customer could run about 4,500 pages per month through this machine and theoretically never place a service call.

Here are a couple of pictures from today.
