LENEXA, KS – On Friday, September 6, 2019, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, SumnerOne will once again be raising money for BIGGSteps Toward Cancer Prevention by hosting their annual Worst Copier in KC event. The Worst Copier in KC event draws a crowd of over 500 people to witness the destruction of KC’s worst copier as it is dropped from a 120ft crane! In addition to the honor of pulling the lever and the fun of watching their “Worst Copier” plummet to the ground from a crane above Union Station, SumnerOne will be awarding the business with the winning entry a brand new Canon copier as a replacement.

Rain or shine, the event will be hosted at Union Station. 30 W Pershing Rd, Kansas City, MO 64108.

Why drop a copier from a crane?

Nothing slows down a day at the office quite like a hunk of junk copier. SumnerOne heard your frustrations, and that’s where our solution comes in. We’re giving one lucky company the chance to drop their copier and break it into hundreds of pieces and in return receive a 2-year no-cost lease of a new Canon MFP valued at $10,000.

Who is the BIGG Winner?

SumnerOne is proud to announce the winner of the Worst Copier in KC, Noah’s Bandage Project (NBP.) The mission of NBP is to end childhood cancer through awareness, support, and the gift of hope. NBP has two goals, to collect cool, fun bandages for children who need them and raise money for pediatric cancer research. To date, NBP has collected and donated over 230,000 boxes of bandages all over the world and given $700,000 for targeted pediatric research grants. “We are overwhelmed with the generosity of SumnerOne and this incredible gift of a top of the line, multi- functioning copier. This gift will help us deliver hope to kids fighting cancer through it’s ability to enable us to spread awareness and drive action through our community. The greatest part about it is the fact that we won’t have to worry about printing expenses any more, allowing us to make a larger impact towards the funding of pediatric cancer research. This is amazing!” Scott & Deb Wilson – Noah’s Parents
