NY Giants Super Bowl XLII Champion Antonio Pierce Featured Speaker

Life in the Fast Lane Themed Event Honors Business Technology Industry Leaders

October 26, 2017 (Hamburg, NJ) — The Cannata Report, the intelligence resource for business technology and imaging solutions resellers, will host its 32nd Annual Awards & Charities Dinner  November 2, 2017 to benefit John Theurer Cancer Center at Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack University Medical Center. New York Giants Super Bowl XLII champion Antonio Pierce will make an encore appearance at the event as featured speaker. Official sponsors include Clover Imaging Group, Hytec Dealer Services, and PSIGEN Software, Inc.

This is the third time The Cannata Report is partnering with Hackensack University Medical Center for its annual charity event, having established endowments honoring industry colleagues at Hackensack University Medical Center throughout the fundraiser’s 32-year history. The event benefits John Theurer Cancer Center with financial support for the specialists working to develop new cancer treatments. The Cannata Report anticipates with this year’s event they will have raised over $2 million for a wide range of charities nationwide.

“The support from our business partners and subscribers and as well from throughout the entire industry multiplies each year and for that we are humbled and forever appreciative, said Frank G. Cannata, The Cannata Report’s president and CEO, adding, “It’s an honor for us to contribute to the amazing undertakings at Hackensack University Medical Center and John Theurer Cancer Center.”

“We are incredibly grateful for the support that The Cannata Report receives from industry friends, generous donors and sponsors who make it possible for us to create positive changes in the lives of all our patients at John Theurer Cancer Center,” said Andre H. Goy, M.D., chairman and executive director, Lymphoma Division chief – John Theurer Cancer Center.

In addition to serving as keynote speaker, Antonio Pierce will reprise his role as fundraiser extraordinaire by assisting with the auction of items autographed by NY Giants Super Bowl champion quarterbacks Eli Manning and Phil Simms. At last year’s Cannata Dinner, Pierce added to the evening’s festivities by raising an additional $25,000 through the generosity of Konica Minolta Business Solutions, Inc. and its president and CEO—and ten time Frank Award winner for “Best Male Executive”—Rick Taylor.

Highlighting the Cannata Dinner being held at The Madison Hotel in Morristown, New Jersey is the presentation of the Frank Awards that acknowledge excellence in the business technology industry and imaging channel. The Cannata Report’s Annual Dealer Survey determines winners of the awards, which is an industry benchmark in the independent dealer community. Sponsored by EverBank Commercial Finance, the survey provides trend data and in-depth analysis across the imaging channel. This year’s survey was conducted with additional support from Canon U.S.A., Inc., Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc., Ricoh Americas Corporation, and Toshiba America Business Solutions, Inc.

“This year’s Life in the Fast Lane theme is significant for a variety of reasons. Today, life in the fast lane of the imaging and business technology industry is exciting, high-pressured and competitive, and we wouldn’t want it any other way,” said CJ Cannata, executive vice president and publisher. “As we celebrate our the 35thth anniversary, we are thrilled by the success of our business, the expansion of the Frank Awards, and the growth of the Cannata Dinner that flourishes because of the united charitable spirit of our industry.”

Business Technology Association’s General Counsel Bob Goldberg will once again serve as emcee for the event. Sharp Electronics Corporation will support the 2017 awards portion of the Cannata Dinner as A/V sponsor.

On Thursday immediately following the Awards & Charities Dinner, “Take It to the Limit,” an official after party, sponsored by MWA Intelligence, will be held to complete the evening’s festivities and the next day, Friday, November 3, The Cannata Report will host a Women Influencers Brunch, sponsored by AMETEK ESP. The brunch celebrates The Cannata Report’s annual Women Influencers franchise that salutes leading female industry executives.
