New Windsor NY, – June 3, 2014 – The strong presence in Europe and America was key for DocuWare’s continued growth in 2013. While the document management specialist’s revenue exceeded 14 percent, the acquisition of Westbrook Technologies resulted in overall increased revenue of nearly 25 percent.

Now in its 25th year, the DocuWare Group continues to take steps in becoming the worldwide leader in its market: for the fourth year in a row, they are reporting double-digit growth. The 2013 acquisition of Westbrook Technologies, a well-known provider of ECM solutions in North America, will continue to bolster this success as both product lines move to the 2016 planned integration.

The company reported 12.3% growth or 14.1% without the addition of Westbrook and when taking into account currency fluctuations. For DocuWare’s Authorized Partners (ADPs), this resulted in project revenues of approximately 100 million euros.

The largest growth for the DocuWare Group was witnessed in the US market with a jump of 38.3% and together with Westbrook accounted for 47.1% of the company’s total revenue. Germany had growth of 15.9%, which represents 32.6% of total revenue. The remaining revenue, approximately 20%, came from sales in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

DocuWare is the only ECM manufacturer that has a presence worldwide – represented by over 500 ADPs around the globe.

The DocuWare Group believes it is well-equipped for market leadership based on this international presence, attractive Partner programs and intrinsic strengths of its software products.
