By Community Contributor jfarrell2, Jim Farrell, PR First, 781-681-6616, jfarrell@prfirst.com – ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL, ISSUED JULY 11, 2016…Victor Miceli, co-owner of Des Plaines Office Equipment, and a member of the Board of Directors for the (IL) Small Business Advocacy Council, recently traveled to Washington D.C. to meet with Congressman Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) and U.S. Senator David Vitter (R-LA) to make them aware of the negative effect that regulations and new legislation can have on the small business owner.

Miceli and the other members of the Small Business Advocacy Council addressed two specific concerns facing small business owners. One is the time-consuming and costly reporting requirement for business owners with more than 50 employees pertaining to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) or “Obamacare.”

Miceli told US Congressman Adam Kinzinger that the company with between 50 and 99 employees can spend over ten thousand dollars annually and hundreds of hours to comply with the reporting required.
