Corporate citizenship is becoming a bigger deal every day. A major factor in that is some sort of environmental/green/sustainability campaign. Lucky for you, printing is one of the easiest ways companies can reduce waste. Be a hero and sell your clients high yield cartridges!

High yield cartridges are a great way for companies to spend less while consuming less resources. Typically a high yield cartridge produces two to three times the yield of a standard yield cartridge. In buying one high yield cartridge then, there is about 50% less pollution in the manufacturing process versus buying two standard yield cartridges, 50% less fuel consumed and emissions from shipping half as many cartridges, and half as many cartridges to be disposed. (Of course best thing you can do with your used cartridges is recycle them.)

Ask About Green Initiatives

“What sort of green initiatives does your company have?” Seems like a straight-forward question.  See what sort of conversation it sparks.  This is a great open door to propose high yield cartridges, even if they say they don’t have any.

Prepare a Comparison Ahead of Time

Do a little homework, and a little math, to show your customer what a big difference high yield cartridges can make. Ask your client about annual printing volume and do a side by side comparison of the standard yield and high yield cartridges they use. Show that it will not only save them money, but produce a lot less waste.
