The 45-minute keynote address will be a highlight at the Information Management Institute Ink Jet 2014 Technology Showcase at Hilton Charlotte University Place, North Carolina, USA, during the event running from September 3-4.

Industry veteran Mr Corrall, who has almost 30 years’ experience in the industrial market and held senior roles in various inkjet companies prior to setting up IIJ in 2006, will be discussing new applications and markets during his ‘Tech Talk’.

Entitled “Implementing Inkjet in an Industrial Environment: Overcoming Challenges In this Growing Market”, the showcase on 4 September at 9.30am will provide basic technical guidelines and pose the question, “Why Digital”? Limitations of the technology, applications examples and the future path for inkjet technology will also be part of the discussion.

Joining Mr Corrall for the Tech Talk will be a representative from Konica Minolta. IIJ is the official sales and technical support centre for Konica Minolta products outside of Asia, offering advice on any aspect of the use of inkjet technology in industrial applications.

Mr Corrall said: “We’re delighted to be part of this showcase and supporting programme, particularly as increasing numbers of people are demanding practical insights that will be useful in considering the use of inkjet technology printing in an industrial environment. It’s a market experiencing significant growth and we’re proud at IIJ to be at the forefront of developments.”
