A 2016 study conducted by London-based technology market research firm Technavio predicts the global interactive whiteboard market will increase at a compound annual growth rate of 7 percent through 2020, rising from a recent $1.42 billion to $1.97 billion by the end of the decade.

Drivers of that growth include an increase in blended learning in the pre-K–12 segment to technological advancements to a rise in the bring-your-own-device culture.
